 **************** Snowy Owls don't normally live in the Finger Lakes Region, but one moonlit winter's night several years ago a large, glowing Snowy Owl was sitting on the peak of my barn roof. I had to surmise, then, that the lemmings had all jumped into the sea in the far north country. Sometimes beauty appears from unfortunate circumstances.
